Congratulations on receiving a Rotary Youth Leadership Academy (RYLA) Camp Scholarship! You have been selected by your community Rotary Club in District 6880 in recognition of your outstanding leadership potential. This is a significant honor, and we are proud to welcome you as you represent your community and Rotary Club alongside fellow students from across South Alabama.

The camp will officially begin at 2:30 PM with a Welcome Ceremony, followed by four action-packed, fun-filled days of leadership development.

Thursday, July 23 at 11:00 AM
Pick-up location will be the same as drop-off.

RYLA is designed to be both engaging and meaningful. Activities throughout the week include:

• Small-group discussions
• Guest presenters
• Outdoor activities and games
• Team challenges
• Skits and a talent show
• Service project

Participants will stay for four days in University of South Alabama residence halls with 2 campers per room. All rooms are air-conditioned.

Bedding: Twin XL
Please bring your own pillow. Linens will be provided.

• $40.00 Cash (Venmo, PayPal, CashApp) deposit is required for your room key.
  • Please bring the exact amount of cash; we are unable to make change.
  • Your deposit will be fully refunded when you return the key at the end of camp. 
• Participants are responsible for their own transportation and must be dropped off at camp or arrive using approved transportation. You may not drive your own vehicle.
   

• 1–2 pairs of tennis shoes
• 4–5 pairs of socks
• 4-5 undergarments
• 3 pairs of shorts
• 4–6 short-sleeve t-shirts
• Workout clothes
• Pajamas / sleepwear
• Bag for dirty clothes
   

• Hand soap, body wash, shampoo, deodorant/antiperspirant
• Pillow
• Any medications (must be pre-approved)

This four-page form includes a Liability Release, Waiver, and Medical Authorization.
Both the student and parent/guardian must complete and sign the form.
